The Cool Canine Club
Welcome to
Come do cool stuff with your dog!
This isn’t your average group class—it’s an opportunity to get out of your comfort zone and practice new things with your dog!
Whether we’re working on public manners downtown, desensitizing dogs to livestock, or hitting the trails hiking, biking, or skiing, the Cool Canine Club is all about building the kind of relationship where you and your dog can thrive!
What We Focus On
We meet once a month to set up new experiences designed to help your dog become resilient, responsive, and ready to handle the world.
Things we cover:
Desensitizing to common triggers like bikes, horses, kids, loud vehicles, unfamiliar dogs and wildlife smells
Practicing recall around distractions so that you can trust your dog to choose YOU over the squirrel
Learning the foundations for safe adventure: biking, hiking, skiing, paddleboarding — including the equipment, commands, and habits that keep you both safe
Tuning into your dog’s state of mind in unpredictable or stimulating environments
Reading the room (and your dog) so you know when to push and when to pause
Who Is The Club For?
This group is especially helpful for owners and dogs that already have a basic foundation in training but need help with socializing, working around distractions, building confidence, and sharpening adventure and off-leash skills.
If your dog is reactive or has not mastered the basics (responding to leash pressure, marker words, obedience) they are not ready for this group. Instead, reach out! We can help you get there through one of our other training programs or join our online membership to build solid foundations.
